Monte Romano (ZIP code 01010) belongs to the province of Viterbo and is 29 kilometers far from Viterbo, that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province.

After the national census made in 2001 the population was 1.939 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of -0,56% inhabitants.
The inhabitants are distributed in 825 families with an average of 2,35 people per family.
The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 27 and 370 metres above sea level.
The altimetric spawn is thus of 343 metres.
Work and workers:There are 20 industrial firms employing 58 people that are the 17,58% of the total of the workers. There are 42 service firms employing 98 people that are the 29,70% of the total of the workers. There are also 41 firms employing 104 people that are the 31,52% of the total of the workers. There are also 19 administrative offices emplying 70 workers that are the 21,21% of the total of the workers.
There is a total of 330 workers, that are the 17,02% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
